Reading Bill Clinton's 14 ideas to get America back on its feet from Newsweek magazine. Among the proposals are reduced bureaucratic regulations and cash and tax breaks for start-up companies. He also writes about climate-smart houses and raves that the roofs should be painted white instead of black because of the heat.
Clinton also writes about the Kyoto agreement and laments that the subsequent Republican administration did not follow the agreement. Before the financial crisis, the countries that followed the Kyoto agreement's emissions requirements had better development in areas such as unemployment, entrepreneurship and less inequality in income distribution. In the article, he throws a boot that it is the first time in America's history that the country lowered its taxes at the same time as they went to war!
